About the Job
We are seeking a candidate to help provide IT support, ideal candidates will need strong experience in providing internal and external user support and troubleshooting with PC and software issues on a daily basis as well as maintaining machines.
Duties and responsibilities
Provide maintenance, technical support, and troubleshooting on all core internal systems, hardware and devices needed to ensure the effective use of technology resources
Assist in designing and implementation of standard configurations for users
Collaboration with different cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Employee onboarding and offboarding including machine setup and access
Maintain all systems and software by applying regular patches and updates
Responsible for user account-related administration for all employees
Hardware and software inventory management including licenses
Ensures security and access policies are in place for all users and machines
Facilitates troubleshooting and escalation with vendors as needed
Performs compliance audit for IT policies & access and reports to management
Maintains local server and related hardware
Other duties as needed
Qualifications
BS Degree of Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
At least 2 years prior experience providing user support, IT related troubleshooting and maintenance with the use of a ticketing system
In-depth experience supporting and troubleshooting windows and macOS machines locally or via remote access
Strong experience on both Windows/Linux on either local or cloud environments
Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 and Intune or other MDM solutions
Ability to “think out of the box”
Experience on Network Administration including firewalls and VPN
Extensive experience supporting and maintaining “home grown” software solutions
Off hours and weekend support
Experience with scripting and automation is a plus
Certifications relevant to the job responsibilities is a plus
Working conditions
This role is a full-time salaried position. Work hours for this position are flexible and will be performed from a home office in the Philippines.
