Heritage Digital Storyteller & Business Partner

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile and culturally fluent professional to drive our digital presence, create compelling short-form video content, and support broader business growth. This is a multi-faceted role ideal for someone who thrives across marketing, content creation, business development, operations, and stakeholder relations. You will play a key part in telling our heritage story online while helping the business run smoothly and expand its network.

Job Roles

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across social media platforms, with a strong focus on creating high-quality reels and short-form video content that showcases traditional Chinese music and arts in a modern, engaging way.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence, ensuring consistent, authentic branding that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Build and nurture strong business relationships with external parties, including partners, cultural organisations, venues, suppliers, and potential collaborators.
  • Support business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand reach, partnerships, and student enrolment.
  • Provide flexible operational, administrative, and HR support as needed, including day-to-day coordination and process improvement.
  • Act as a trusted internal partner (executive assistant-style support) to the leadership team on projects, scheduling, and prioritisation when required.
  • Collaborate across cultures and nationalities, leveraging experience in multicultural environments to strengthen internal teamwork and external engagement.
  • Contribute creatively and strategically to overall brand growth and studio operations.

Requirements

  • At least possess a OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in Singapore, China and Hong Kong (or similar major Asian cities), with demonstrated ability to navigate different cultures and nationalities.
  • Solid background spanning marketing, operations, HR, administration, business development, and executive support.
  • Strong track record in developing business relations with external parties and a natural flair for influencing and building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Hands-on experience creating social media content, particularly short-form video/reels, and managing multi-platform digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional Chinese language ability is an advantage given our focus on traditional Chinese arts.
  • Genuine interest in or appreciation for Chinese traditional music, culture, or the arts is highly preferred.
  • Required to work on weekends and public holidays as deemed necessary to support events, content production, performances, or other business needs.
