Drive heavy goods vehicles (HGV) Class 1 tankers for a logistics company transporting chemicals, fuels, and waste across the UK, operating night shifts from Harwich, Essex.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV to join our team based a Harwich, working a Monday to Friday Night shift pattern.

Interview’s and driving assessments are being held at our Grays depot on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September.

Pay Rates:

  • 45 hours guarantee per week

  • £18.04 per hour with 10 hour guarantee per shift – This rate is inclusive of Southern Weighting

  • £1.62 per hour for all night shift hours worked

  • £27.06 per hour overtime - applicable after 10 hours worked Monday-Friday and first 5 hours on Saturday

  • £36.08 per hour overtime for Saturdays after 5 hours worked

  • £36.08 per hour overtime for Sundays and bank holidays

  • £36.17 Night out allowance


FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers

Essential Requirements:

  • An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points

  • A tachograph card

  • A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

  • A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7

  • A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation

  • A safety focus

  • Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience

  • At least 2 years Tanker Experience

  • A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)

The Package:

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
