HHC Monroe- Garden Center Sales Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Garden Center Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate must enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable working in various weather conditions, including heat. Responsibilities include assisting customers, caring for and maintaining plants and garden merchandise, stocking products, and keeping the garden center clean and organized.
During the off-season, the associate will assist with cashiering and work on the sales floor as needed. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, have strong customer service skills, and possess basic plant knowledge or a willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors in hot weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Basic knowledge of plants and gardening preferred, but willingness to learn is required
- Ability to assist with cashiering and sales floor duties during the off-season
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
