This is an elite tier Start-up that is being backed by major financial institutions. They are building infrastructure and products at the frontier of decentralized technology. The work is technically demanding, highly user-facing, and increasingly important as the category matures.

You’ll work directly on core product experiences, influence frontend architecture, and own meaningful problems from first principles through production.
The environment is fast, highly autonomous, and engineering-led. Small team. High trust. Very little bureaucracy.

You’ll have real ownership across frontend architecture, complex UX, performance, and product delivery — working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambitious ideas into polished, production-grade experiences.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end frontend workstreams across web and mobile products
• Build scalable applications with TypeScript, React, and TanStack
• Shape frontend architecture, performance, testing, and engineering standards
• Build intuitive experiences for complex, data-rich products
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript / modern JavaScript skills
• Deep React knowledge and strong frontend architecture fundamentals
• Experience with TanStack Start, Next.js, Remix, or similar frameworks
• Comfortable owning projects in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Strong communication and product sense
• Candidates already located in Japan, with fluent Japanese communication skill a must
• Experience working at popular local companies (e.g: Mercari, Line, Smartnews, Indeed, Amazon, Google etc.)

Bonus: Web3/blockchain experience, AI-assisted development (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.), or startup/scale-up experience.
