High School Art Teacher

Position: Brighton High School a 27J Schools located in Colorado is seeking an teacher to inspire student's who love to Draw and Paint. This is for Drawing and Painting with a possibility of AP Art in the future. This is a full-time, or 1.0 FTE position.

School Information:

Required Qualifications:

1. A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License.
2. Colorado Department of Education "In Field" by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach the posted subject area.
3. The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
4. The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. (Having respected and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching sustainable.)
5. The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
6. A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
