High Speed IO Validation Engineer

You will bring up, characterize, and validate high-speed interfaces and clocking networks. You will conduct compliance testing, perform laboratory measurements and margin analysis, debug I/O failures with cross-functional partners, and document test results and validation status.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up, electrical characterization, and functional validation of high-speed interfaces
• Conduct compliance and interoperability testing for industry-standard interfaces
• Perform lab measurements for jitter, eye-diagram, link-margin, and system-level margin analysis
• Debug complex I/O issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions
• Create test plans, validation reports, and technical documentation

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-speed I/O validation, electrical characterization, and system debug
• Experience validating multi-Gbps SerDes and HBM or DDR interfaces
• Expert proficiency with oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers or time-domain reflectometers
• Knowledge of physical-layer architecture, CTLE, DFE, FFE, PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet
• Understanding of firmware and driver architecture and hardware-system interactions
