existing technologies in the domain of high voltage systems and high voltage battery systems.

This position will be expected to work cross-functionally with eDrive, non-motive power conversion, charging, and controls teams as well as interface with Vehicle Energy Management Engineering, Vehicle Architecture, and Systems
Engineering teams. You will also be responsible for supporting the broader high voltage applications teams and
high voltage battery unit teams as they progress through the GPDS process.

What you'll do...

  • Act as project lead for high voltage electrical system projects and studies including failure mode
assessment, prevent recurrence actions, cost optimization studies, new architecture studies, cost
reduction actions, and new technology adoption studies.
  • Lead the development of a core generic high voltage system design specification document and define
the supporting pre-PS and post-PS processes and cross functional responsibilities.
  • Lead cross functional interfaces within EPE to map the EPE Core process for HV Battery design, attribute
implementation, and information exchange across HV systems, component teams, and VEME.
  • Develop traceability between xEV attributes and requirements to improve unit workbook processes and
    high voltage architecture decision making.
  • Lead global implementation of the Technical Assessment Process and support battery technical leader in
continuous improvement actions and process definition.
