POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Client Analytics & Consultation position is a key leadership role within the Client Analytics. This position reports to the Director of Client Analytics and is responsible for leading a team of analytical professionals focused on delivering high-impact financial analyses, pharmacy trend insights, forecasting, and client reporting. The role combines people leadership, analytics expertise, operational execution, and strategic problem-solving.
The Senior Manager will oversee the development of client-specific financial analyses and forward-looking pharmacy trend insights that help clients understand the drivers of pharmacy spend, anticipate future cost pressures, and evaluate solutions to manage trend. This individual will partner closely with Client Analytics, Sales, Account Management, Product, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
In addition to managing day-to-day analytical work, the Senior Manager will establish best practices, develop team capabilities, and accelerate the adoption of automation, AI, and advanced analytics to improve scalability, efficiency, and quality across the organization. The role will also serve as a critical liaison between the Hyderabad-based team and U.S. leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities, quality standards, and strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Establish clear performance expectations, development plans, and career pathways for team members.
- Conduct hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring activities to support continued growth of the GCC Client Analytics organization.
- Build analytical, business, and presentation skills across the team to ensure high-quality client deliverables.
Client Analytics Leadership
- Oversee the development and delivery of client-specific financial analyses and custom reporting deliverables.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all analytical outputs prior to delivery
- Provide guidance on complex analytical projects and help teams translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Support strategic client initiatives, custom studies, and executive-level analyses.
- Develop forward-looking projections and scenario analyses to help clients anticipate future cost pressures and evaluate potential solutions.
- Establish processes that ensure seamless collaboration across time zones while maintaining service-level expectations.
- Support enterprise initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination and analytical expertise.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
- Implement best practices for analytical processes, quality assurance, documentation, and model governance.
- Monitor team capacity, workload allocation, and project prioritization to ensure efficient execution.
- Drive adoption of artificial intelligence, automation tools, advanced analytics techniques to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring analyses, reporting processes, and client deliverables.
- Partner with technology and analytics teams to implement new capabilities that improve insight generation and forecasting accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree (MBA, MS Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline) preferred.
- 13 to 16 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, business analytics, consulting, healthcare analytics, or related disciplines.
- 3–5+ years of people leadership experience, including direct management of analytical teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into simple, actionable business recommendations.
- Experience working with global teams and supporting U.S.-based stakeholders preferred.
- PBM, healthcare, managed care, pharmaceutical, or consulting industry experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong SQL or Python capabilities with experience analyzing large, complex datasets.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization platforms.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and automation tools.
