This agreement forms the arrangement between the organisation (mentioned below) and Ashdown Academy Ltd (trading as The Event Academy). The decision to volunteer or work at your event is entirely up to the student. Once the introduction has been made, any subsequent agreements or disputes are solely between the organisation offering the volunteer position and the volunteer. The Event Academy will: Advertise your opportunity on our communications hub. Provide ways that volunteers can contact you to apply directly. Not be held responsible for the behaviour or performance of any volunteer. Not be liable for anything relating to the volunteer or your event opportunity. The Organisation offering volunteering opportunities will: Communicate with all volunteers applying and inform them if they have been accepted or not. Inform the Event Academy of the names of students who are successful in their application. Communicate to the volunteers, all requirements, expectations, logistics etc. relevant to the event in a timely manner. Provide any training and support necessary for the volunteer to perform their role. Treat volunteers in line with the organisation’s equal opportunities policy. Reimburse out-of-pocket expenses (if offered). Provide adequate insurance cover for the volunteers Provide a safe working environment and apply good health and safety practice. Inform us of any problems, grievances or difficulties which may be encountered and endeavour to resolve them in a fair and just manner. Should this volunteer position lead to an offer of employment to any of the students from Event Academy, the organisation agrees to our. Terms of Business for hiring students.
