Job Description
United Security, LLC is hiring 25 licensed security guards for a three-day special event at St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix, Arizona.
This is a high-volume food distribution event requiring professional, dependable security personnel to assist with traffic control, crowd management, pedestrian safety, and maintaining an organized and safe environment.
All guards must be available to work all three days. Partial availability will not be accepted.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
- Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle lines and traffic flow.
- Provide professional customer service to visitors and volunteers.
- Monitor assigned areas and report safety concerns.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and remain attentive throughout the shift.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Remain standing and actively engaged throughout assigned shifts.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona DPS Unarmed or Armed Security Guard Card.
- Must be available November 23, 24, and 25, 2026.
- Must be available from 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM each day.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Must have a reliable smartphone.
Compensation and Payment
- $450 total compensation for successfully completing all three days.
- Payment issued Wednesday, November 25, 2026, upon completion of the event.
- Payment available through Zelle or live check if Zelle is unavailable.
- Payment will be issued without tax withholding. Workers remain responsible for any applicable taxes.
Uniform Requirements
- United Security will provide a security polo shirt.
- Guards must provide their own tan/khaki BDU-style pants and black shoes.
- All guards must maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Important Attendance Requirements
This is a three-day commitment. Applicants must be available and prepared to work all scheduled shifts.
Attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and dependability are essential. Failure to complete all three days may affect compensation and future employment opportunities.
