Hiring For QAD Techno-Functional Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop custom functionalities using Progress 4GL / Open Edge for QAD ERP.
• Build and deploy enhancements and custom programs aligned with business requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Develop reports, batch jobs, and user-defined screens in QAD.
• Assist in data migration efforts during implementations or upgrades.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-6 years of experience in Progress 4GL / Open Edge development.
• Strong exposure to QAD ERP (SE / EE and Adaptive / Web UI) modules such as Manufacturing, Finance, and SCM.
• Hands-on experience developing QAD customizations, reports, and user interfaces.
• Familiarity with QADs database structure and application logic.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Exposure to Qxtend, QRF, Platform API, and OOABL concepts.
• Experience with data migration or interface development.
• Basic understanding of functional processes in QAD.
