Summary

We are actively recruiting a Junior ServiceNow Developer with a specific focus on Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to lead the configuration, development, and ongoing enhancement of our SPM solutions. This position is critical for utilizing strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting and platform features to refine the SPM and PPM environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a firm grasp of core development principles and the unique intricacies of SPM modules, guaranteeing the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions that support organizational objectives.

Location: Bangalore (Hebbal)

Responsibilities

• Extend and tailor ServiceNow SPM capabilities, encompassing Demand Management, PPM, Agile Development, Resource Management, and Financial Management.
  
• Develop and maintain core platform elements such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Workflows, and Flow Designer components.
  
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and Product Owners to accurately collect and interpret project requirements.
  
• Lead sprint planning activities, take part in Agile ceremonies, and assist in optimizing the project intake workflow.
  
• Spearhead automation efforts, produce detailed reports and dashboards, and enhance overall data accuracy.
  
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolve defects, oversee deployment processes, and deliver continuous production support.
  
• Ensure technical documentation remains current while continuously learning and implementing ServiceNow platform best practices.
  

• Hold 2-5 years of professional experience in ServiceNow development or administration.
  
• Show proven, hands-on experience working with ServiceNow SPM and PPM modules.
  
• Demonstrate skill in JavaScript, Flow Designer, workflow automation, reporting tools, and dashboard development.
  
• Possess a solid understanding of project management concepts, portfolio strategies, and Agile methodologies.
  
• Exhibit strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
  

Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required or currently in progress.
  
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Strongly preferred.
  
• ITIL or Agile/Scrum certification A significant plus.
  

Preferred Exposure: Background in Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP), Value Stream Management, portfolio forecasting, KPI dashboards, and integrations with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or APM.

Career Growth: A defined progression path is available to move into roles such as Senior SPM Developer, Lead Developer, and ServiceNow SPM Architect.
