PostgreSQL/Sybase Database Administrator - L2 for a leading bank in Singapore. This is a hands-on production support role responsible for database administration, performance tuning, HA/DR, troubleshooting, incident management and automation across PostgreSQL/Sybase environments.
Exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator role with a leading global organization in Singapore.
Role Scope
- We are hiring a PostgreSQL/Sybase DBA - L2 for a leading bank in Singapore to support production database environments across Asia and EMEA.
- Demonstrated experience in PostgreSQL/Sybase DBA experience in production/Run environments.
- Administer, upgrade, troubleshoot and optimise PostgreSQL and Sybase ASE/IQ
- Experience in HA/DR, replication, backup/recovery, performance tuning and monitoring.
- Handle L2 incidents, escalations, RCA, Problem/Change Management and production support.
- Experience with Python, T-SQL and/or Shell scripting for automation.
- Support database migrations, security, DR exercises and continuous improvement.
