Role & responsibilities
LabVantage System Implementation
- Develop and configure LabVantage Enterprise solutions in accordance with project plans, delivery schedules, and quality frameworks.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, project schedules, milestones, and expected deliverables.
- Prepare low-level design documents, technical documentation, unit-test cases, test evidence, and delivery packages.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable configurations and customizations in alignment with LabVantage quality standards and implementation best practices.
- Participate in solution design, development, configuration, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and delivery activities.
- Share technical and product knowledge within the project team and support adherence to established coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of reusable and pluggable components that can be used across multiple implementations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or a masters degree in computer applications (MCA) or allied field.
- Overall 2 to 7 years of progressive hands-on technical experience in developing, configuring, and implementing Java-driven web applications.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on project implementation and customization experience with the LabVantage Enterprise (LIMS) platform. The candidate's most recent professional experience must be on LabVantage LIMS, with no gap of more than 6 months from the current date.
- Strong working knowledge of LabVantage core architecture, data models, configuration capabilities, and enterprise implementation best practices.
- In-depth functional knowledge across key LabVantage modules, including Sample Management, Batch and Request Management, Quality Management, Stability, Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), and Laboratory Execution System (LES).
- Strong proficiency in full-stack web technologies, including Java/J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, client-side scripting, jQuery, AJAX, and Groovy scripting.
- Advanced knowledge of relational database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries and data troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience working with integration architectures and web services utilizing REST and SOAP protocols.
- Working knowledge of Jaspersoft Studio/Jasper Reports, BarTender, Jira, and Confluence.
