Internship Allowance: $1300- $1800, based on experience
About TutorJohn Learning Centre
TutorJohn Learning Centre (TJLC) is a growing education brand in Singapore specialising in small-group tuition for Primary and Secondary students. We are committed to delivering quality education through our proprietary curriculum, dedicated educators and innovative teaching approach.
We are looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to support our marketing team in strengthening TJLC's brand presence, creating engaging content and supporting our student enrolment initiatives.
This internship is suitable for someone who wants hands-on experience across social media, content creation, digital marketing and campaign performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns to generate awareness, enquiries and student enrolments.
- Assist in managing TJLC's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Assist with developing and maintaining monthly social media and content calendars.
- Create engaging content including social media posts, Reels, TikTok videos, photography and marketing visuals.
- Assist with content ideation, scripting, filming and basic video editing.
- Support copywriting for social media captions, advertisements, brochures, posters, EDMs and other marketing materials.
- Assist with Meta Ads, Google Ads and other digital advertising campaigns under guidance from the marketing team.
- Support basic SEO, website content updates and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Research social media trends, competitor activities and potential content opportunities.
- Support promotional campaigns, events, partnerships and seasonal enrolment activities.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, influencers and external partners where required.
- Assist in tracking marketing performance such as social media engagement, leads, website traffic and advertising results.
- Prepare simple marketing reports and identify observations or opportunities for improvement.
- Provide general marketing and administrative support for ongoing campaigns and projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, Design or a related discipline.
- No prior full-time marketing experience required.
- Strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing.
- Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
- Basic familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar content creation tools is preferred.
- Interest in photography, videography and short-form video production.
- Basic understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO or digital analytics would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative, organised, responsible and willing to learn.
- Comfortable appearing behind or in front of the camera when required for content production.
- Able to work independently while collaborating with the wider team.
- Experience or interest in the education, tuition, enrichment or childcare industry will be an advantage.
