About the student
- Autistic 10th grader seeking tutoring for history and writing.
- The student is currently at a 7th-8th grade level and is falling behind with coursework. Her goal is to improve her grades and learn how to manage her own notes.
- The student is seeking 2 hours of tutoring per week during her availability: Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
- The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at her family's home in Suisun City. Alternatively, the student is willing to travel to a library/public location for tutoring in Vacaville or Vallejo.
Requirements
REQUIRED
- You have experience teaching/tutoring high school students.
- You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
- Due to insurance requirements, applicant must not be a minor.
PREFERRED
- You have experience working with autistic individuals.
- You have a teaching certification.
