HOME BASED TEACHER

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based early childhood education services to children ages 0–5 and their families.
• Support children's development and learning through age-appropriate educational activities and experiences.
• Build respectful, culturally responsive and trusting relationships with families while supporting child-development, school-readiness, and family-partnership.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment for children and families.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and follow program policies and requirements.

Requirements

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field with coursework equivalency.
• Minimum high school diploma with a Home Visiting CDA and Family Certification Credential.
• Previous early childhood experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with young children and families.
• Commitment to supporting the goals and mission of the Head Start program.
