As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily living activities and offering companionship in a respectful and caring manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring safely.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving clients.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
