Home Care Worker
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. In this role, you will provide essential in-home support to clients in Howell, MI, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.
- Help clients with light housekeeping, errands, and transportation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
