Qualifications

• Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Minimum age: 18-21 years (depending on the province/territory).
• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal and financial history.
• Physical and mental fitness, meeting the standards outlined by the agency.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English or French; bilingualism is an asset.

Training

Successful candidates will undergo mandatory training at the police academy, which includes:
