Home Health Aide
About the Role:
As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. You will be working closely with individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Your main goal will be to ensure that our clients are comfortable, safe, and happy in their own homes. You will be an integral part of our team, providing support and companionship to those who need it most.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor health conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress
Skills:
As a Home Health Aide, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our clients. You will also need to be organized and detail-oriented to maintain accurate records of client care and progress. Additionally, you will need to have physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required. Your skills will be used daily to provide personalized care and support to our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness.
