The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides direct personal care and assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes. This role ensures that clients receive the necessary support to maintain their health, safety, and independence while adhering to individualized care plans and federal, state, and agency regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Support mobility by assisting with transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises. Prepare and serve nutritionally appropriate meals based on dietary restrictions. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to client care, such as laundry and tidying living spaces. Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the supervisor or nurse. Assist with medication reminders (if permitted by state regulations). Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Follow infection control protocols and adhere to safety guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
