Homebound Tutor

This position will be for 8th grade math instruction, with some ELAcheck-ins, in a one-on-one tutoring setting. This position is up to 5 hours a week, for approximately 10 weeks (through winter break). The placement for this opportunity will take place in the student's home.

A homebound tutor does not need to be highly qualified (endorsed) in the specific area(s). The pay rate for homebound tutoring services is outlined in our current Negotiations Agreement, 2026-2031, at $32.00 per hour.

Homebound services are provided to a student when a licensed medical physician determines that the student will be, or is anticipated to be, out of school for a minimum of two consecutive weeks (10 days) or more, or on an ongoing intermittent basis, due to a medical condition.
