Provides overnight shelter support and crisis intervention for homeless individuals in a trauma-informed environment, working Friday and Saturday evenings.

Hope House, a Preble Street low-barrier shelter located in Bangor, Maine, provides shelter and intensive services to individuals experiencing homelessness in a 24-hour trauma-informed environment grounded in social work best practices.

The Hope House Shelter Navigator is responsible for maintaining the safety of Hope House residents and for skills building activities, daily living skills support, crisis intervention, and coverage activities during shifts. This position ensures the collection, documentation and reporting of information and data as required; and works as a member of the Hope House team to support and achieve outcomes aligned with program goals and the agency mission.

Population Served: Individuals who are experiencing homelessness.

Schedule: Friday & Saturday, 2:00pm-10:30pm
