HORTICULTURAL SPECIALIST

Greenphyto Pte Ltd is at the forefront of sustainable urban farming. We are looking for a highly skilled Horticultural Specialist to lead our cultivation efforts. At Greenphyto, we don't just grow vegetables; we engineer environments.
In this role, you will be the "brain" behind our vertical systems, balancing biological needs with technical precision to ensure our high-yield produce meets the gold standard for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- System/Process optimization to improve crop health and productivity
- CEA parameters controlled and mapping for various type of crops
- Data analyst and research on grow pattern, detect anomalies
- Nutrient dosing management and control
- Data driven problem solving and decision making (Periodic and systematic data collection, AI quality report analysis and action)
- Reports formation
- Documentation for knowledge retention
- Conduct DOE for continuous improvement
- Production support, food safety and security, pests/diseases control
Assist farm manager to achieve
1) Increase gross weight per square meter
2) Increase number or shorten grow cycle
3) Loss rate reduction
4) Production business process
Who You Are
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Hydroponics, Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), Indoor/Vertical Farming, or Agri-tech industries.
- Knowledge of hydroponic crop production, nutrient management, and CEA systems.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and report preparation to support data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE), root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies for crop yield and production optimization.
- Familiarity with food safety, pest and disease management, and production business processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
