Working Hours: Monday to Friday (and Saturdays when required)

Salary: Internship allowance provided (commensurate with experience and school requirements)

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Horticulturist Intern to join our landscaping team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in plant care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural operations. You will work alongside experienced horticulturists and gain practical knowledge of Singapore's landscaping and greenery industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and care of trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and ornamental plants.
  • Support planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, mulching, and weeding activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections to monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
  • Assist in implementing pest and disease control measures under supervision.
  • Help maintain landscape quality and ensure work areas are clean and safe.
  • Record plant maintenance activities and assist with inventory of plants and horticultural materials.
  • Support landscape improvement projects and seasonal planting programmes.
  • Comply with workplace safety procedures and environmental best practices.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Biology, or a related field.
  • Passionate about plants, nature, and environmental sustainability.
  • Willing to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out field-based tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Responsible, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
