About the Role
As a Certified Nurse Assistant with Corus Health in Albuquerque, you'll provide hands-on hospice care to residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, bringing dignity, comfort, and steady support to patients and families during one of life's most meaningful chapters. This role is a great fit for CNAs who live near Laguna Rainbow and want consistent, community-based work close to home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services in accordance with each patient's plan of care, under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and feeding
- Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition or care needs to supervising staff
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in the EMR
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
