Hospice Resale Shop Associate

Carolina Caring is seeking an individual with retail experience to join our team at the Hospice Resale Shop in the Viewmont area of Hickory, NC. This position involves greeting and assisting customers, pricing and stocking merchandise, and coordinating merchandise sales.
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week, including some weekend shifts.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Experience is retail management and marketing preferred. Ability to pack, ship, and list on online sales platforms such as Ebay and Etsy is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform basic life operation skills of walking, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, twisting, talking and hearing.
- Requires crouching/squatting, kneeling. Hand/finger dexterity and writing.
- Must be able to perform sedentary work; and to occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must possess the visual acuity to operate a computer terminal and to read and write extensively.
