Carolina Caring is seeking a part-time Hospice Resale Shop Receiver and Maintenance Worker for our Mountain View location in Hickory, NC. The Hospice Resale Shop Receiver and Maintenance Worker is responsible for coordinating merchandise pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries, as well as maintaining equipment, buildings, and grounds in accordance with Carolina Caring policies and procedures.
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, including some weekend shifts.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Experience moving and storing furniture is preferred. Experience driving a box truck is preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with people from different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and religious affiliations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Maintains current, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Maintain minimum automobile liability insurance for the duration of employment.
