Pay\: HK$40,220 to HK$56,263 (HGPS point 16 to 23) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities\:

1. Oversee the day-to-day catering operation.
2. Schedule duty rosters, arrange food ordering and inventory control.
3. Assist Catering Manager(s) in planning and implementing annual department development plan and involve in all aspects for the development of catering services actively.

4. Manage human resources matters in the department including Staff Development Review (SDR), interview and orientation for new staff, annual manpower review and planning.

5. Assist in reviewing and planning the annual menu and recipe development.
6. Handle complaints and make sure staff are in disciplined under regulations.
7. Liaise with wards and other departments in catering matters.
8. Provide administrative assistance to Catering Manager(s).
9. Assist in the execution of quality assurance programmes, and the implementation of ISO22000 & CQI programmes as determined by Catering Manager(s).
10. Other duties as assigned by Catering Manager(s).

Entry Requirements\:

1. Certificate in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Operations or equivalent; or Chef Apprenticeship; and

2. With a minimum of 5 years in bulk cooking experience.

Preferable Attributes\:

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in staff supervision.
2. Experience in large scale cooking and recipe development.
3. Practical experience in Quality Assurance for Central Production Unit and Cook Chill system will be an advantage.
4. Knowledge of / training in ISO quality systems, HACCP and OSH.
5. Knowledge or experience in DCMS, ERP, JOS, CMMS application.
6. Possess PC skills, e.g. excel, words.
