Compensation: ₦120,000–₦180,000 per month

About the Role

Zinance Limited, an Information Technology and Consulting firm, is seeking Hospital Social Workers to provide support and guidance to patients as they navigate healthcare services, treatment, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ individual needs using medical information and personal interviews.
• Develop plans to help patients adjust to medical diagnoses and transition from healthcare facilities to everyday life.
• Provide support based on patients’ health conditions, personal circumstances, and emotional needs.
• Research local support groups and resources suitable for individual patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of services and resources provided to patients.
• Follow up with patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery to assess their mental and emotional well-being.
• Stay updated on local resources and relevant medical research to provide appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain medical concepts in understandable language.
• Compassionate approach when working with patients of all ages and conditions.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
