Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 21 physicians at UF Jacksonville North Hospital.
- Five-year-old, state-of-the-art facility.
Qualifications:
- ABIM or ABFM certified with prior hospitalist experience.
- Requires a minimum of one year of recent, previous hospitalist experience. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- We proudly sponsor H1B & J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support.
Scheduling:
- 7-days-on, 7-days-off scheduling with flexibility for time off, eg – attend conferences, vacation, etc., and opportunity for moonlighting bonus.
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM rounding shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Round on average 18 patients/shift with 2-3 admissions as part of the average of 18.
- Help support the hospitalist team’s efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at UF Jacksonville North Hospital.
- Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
- Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist.
- No procedures, no code, but run rapid on own patients.
