Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our team of eight physicians at the UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center.
• Work alongside a unique group of clinicians with diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
• We work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a seamless transition of care.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
• A patient-centered, compassionate mindset is a must.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• 10-bed closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage.
• Hospitalists respond to codes and rapid responses along with the intensivist.
• EPIC EMR and access to Sound Physicians internal informatics platform.
• Manageable workload and manageable encounters.
