Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 3 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• ABIM or ABFM certified.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• This position does not sponsor J-1 and H-1 visa waivers.

Scheduling:

• 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with flexibility for time off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Round on patients with admissions.
• Help support the hospitalist team’s efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.
• Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
• Open ICU with teleintensivists. No procedures but run codes and rapid response.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Excellent annual compensation ranges from $354,000 to $374,000, with productivity and quality incentives.
• Full benefits with matching 401 (k).
• Annual CME allowance.
