Hospitality Attendant | Daytona Speedway Fairfield Inn

  • Responsibilities

  • Welcome, greet, and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby areas in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Set up, maintain, serve, and break down the breakfast bar according to hotel standards.
  • Prepare designated food items and ensure the breakfast area remains fully stocked and presentable throughout service.
  • Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
  • Assist guests courteously and efficiently with breakfast service and address questions or concerns.
  • Handle guest complaints and work to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and overall quality throughout daily assignments.
  • Follow all hotel policies, including house rules, safety procedures, food-handling requirements, and security procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and related duties as scheduled.
  • Follow established maintenance programs and cleaning schedules.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience; previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests, management, and coworkers.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with strong guest-service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities, attractions, and points of interest appropriate for hotel guests is preferred.
  • Food safety certification is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements associated with breakfast service and maintaining the breakfast area.
