30hop Restaurant & Bar in Merriam, KS is hiring Hosts to join our front of house team.

We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy connecting with Guests and working as part of a busy restaurant team. As a Host at 30hop, you’ll help set the tone for each Guest’s visit by providing a welcoming first impression, managing the flow of the dining room, and supporting the front of house team throughout service.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

After completing training, Hosts earn $10 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Schedule

• Part-time opportunities available
• Wednesday morning availability required
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening availability required

Responsibilities

• Welcome Guests and create a friendly first impression
• Manage the waitlist, provide accurate wait-time estimates, and seat Guests efficiently
• Communicate with Servers and other team members about seating and Guest needs
• Answer phone calls and assist with Guest questions, reservations, and to-go orders
• Keep the host stand, entryway, and other Guest-facing areas clean and organized
• Assist with resetting tables and preparing the dining room for incoming Guests
• Support food running and other front of house responsibilities as needed
• Work with teammates to keep service moving during busy periods
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant
• Guest-focused attitude and willingness to help
• Ability to work well as part of a team
