NewBe an early applicantTampa Marriott Westshore is looking for a part time Host/Hostess in Blue Bistro.
Job Description: A Host or Hostess makes sure that their guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. They create a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter the establishment. Hosts or Hostesses typically provide menus, take names for reservations and answer the phone.
Essential Functions:
- Responsibilities include welcome and greet arriving guests, seat guests at tables, ensure flow of operations.
- Acknowledge departing guests in a friendly manner.
- Assist the restaurant service staff; perform setup duties; clear dishes and other tableware from guests.
- Assist with table reset and dining room clean up at the end of the shift.
Experience:
- Prior experience preferred, but not required.
- Customer service skills and experience.
- Be able to work in a stand up for position for long periods of time (minimum 5 hours).
