Host(ess) - Bevo

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, whether in person or over the phone. They provide a warm welcome, manage reservations, and support the dining room team to ensure guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage dining room reservations;
Ensure menus are in perfect condition;
Welcome guests upon arrival, assign them a table according to the established floor plan, escort them to their table, and adjust place settings as needed;
Assist the dining room team during service when necessary;
Thank guests upon departure, inquire about their satisfaction, and invite them to return;
Ensure the cleanliness of the work area, washrooms, and dining room;
Answer telephone calls according to established procedures;
Perform any other related duties required to ensure the smooth operation of dining room service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;
Strong customer service skills;
Ability to work independently;
Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills;
Strong organizational skills;
Excellent communication skills in both English and French, spoken and written.
