The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for members and guests by providing attentive, friendly, and professional service upon arrival. This role involves greeting members and guests, answering the phone, and utilizing Open Table for reservations, all while maintaining the warm, family-friendly atmosphere of the dining room.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests as they enter the restaurant, warmly and promptly with a smile.
• If there is a delay of more than 15 minutes, communicate the delay with the member/guest then let the manager know.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings and use the proper verbiage.
• Take messages for employees, members, and guests.
• Learn how to use Open Table effectively.
• Keep your station clean and make sure all menus are in good condition.
• Thank the members and guests as they depart.
• Run the door effectively, independently and with confidence.
• Be well-groomed and dressed appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Previous hosting experience in hospitality, restaurants, or other country clubs is preferred.
• Must have a bubbly personality and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to stay calm during busy times.

Preferred Shift Availability:

• Mondays we are closed.
• Tuesday-Sunday, 3PM-9PM.
• Sunday Brunch, 9AM-2PM.
