We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team, as a Host or Hostess. This position is our first person to meet and greet our members and guests.
The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting arriving members and their guests, welcoming them into the establishment and escorting them to the proper seating. This individual is the first impression of a member’s experience at Colleton River Club.

A Day in the Life of a Host or Hostess at Colleton River Club:
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing exceptional service & hospitality to Members and guests.
- Provide a warm welcome and facilitate member seating after they arrive.
- Monitor the open dining sections of the establishment for empty and cleaned tables.
- Estimate and communicate wait times for members. Monitoring the guest waiting list and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
- Responsible for answering the telephone, booking reservations, and moving tables together to accommodate large parties.
- May take a member’s initial drink order. Depending on volume, Hostess may need to fill the drink order or pass the order along to the responsible Server.
- Maintain an accurate dining room occupancy chart.
- Supports the F&B Team to ensure quality service.
- Reports concerns to F&B Manager to ensure appropriate resolution.
- Maintain an orderly and organized work area.
- Adhere to established rules and regulations of the Club, while working scheduled shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Typical Schedule:
- Wednesday - Sunday
- Wednesday - Saturday, 3:30 PM-10:00 PM and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Full-time
- Must have Sunday AM availability (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
