Bartender

Job Description

The primary role of any bartender is to prepare alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages for guests of the hotel. The position is for someone proficient in mixing, garnishing and serving mixed drinks, cocktails, beers and wine. Some of the responsibilities of this position are listed below:

  • Providing high quality service to customers; verify guest’s age as required
  • Adhere to all local and state liquor laws
  • Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
  • Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders
  • Process payments, balance cash receipts, and prepare cash deposits
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout the shift
  • Must have a valid TABC certificate
  • Must have a valid food handlers permit
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Job requires standing for long periods of time with very little walking
  • Other jobs as assigned.
