Job Description
Host/Hostess
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage, Food & Beverage Managers
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Summary: Welcome members and escort them to their seats in a courteous and friendly manner in the Club’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding member experience.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Provide arriving members with a prompt, gracious greetings, and seat them comfortably with menus
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Works with management and team members to ensure top quality service delivery to Members and guests
- Helps dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Places reservations
- Ensures knowledge of menu and specials
- Responds to member inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
