Spirit Mountain is hiring for the winter ski season and is looking for a vibrant and energetic individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. This is a fun and dynamic role in a lively setting, where you’ll be the first point of contact for guests at our bars and restaurants. As a Host/Hostess, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth seating and service operations. If you enjoy working with people and thrive in a team-oriented environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create a positive guest experience by warmly greeting guests upon arrival and ensuring they are promptly seated.
- Manage reservations and guide guests to their tables efficiently.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates and manage the flow of the waiting area.
- Distribute menus and address initial guest inquiries with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Optimize seating to ensure an even workload for servers, contributing to smooth service.
- Handle phone calls for reservations, inquiries, and takeout orders as needed.
- Assist servers when necessary to ensure seamless service, such as refilling drinks or clearing tables.
