Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a warm, professional and guest-focused Host to join a luxury beach house in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a refined hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering personalised service and memorable guest experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive a welcoming, attentive and seamless experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities:

• Welcome and check in guests in a warm, professional and efficient manner.
  
• Provide personalised service and attend to guest requests and requirements.
  
• Assist with coordinating daily guest activities and arrangements.
  
• Maintain excellent communication with guests and the wider hospitality team.
  
• Ensure guest areas are consistently presented to a high standard.
  
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist wherever required.
  
• Handle guest queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
  
• Maintain the high service standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.
  
• Assist with general hosting duties and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a luxury hospitality, hotel, lodge or guesthouse environment.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• A warm, friendly and professional personality.
  
• Strong attention to detail and a guest-focused approach.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
  
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
  
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  

Salary: R11,000 per month
