Job Overview:
As a Hostess at SARK, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will work closely with the restaurant team to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of efficiency in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations
- Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and exceed guest expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
