Job Description

Basic Job Responsibility: Present a positive first impression of The Reserve Club’s friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. They are responsible for welcoming customers and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus and assisting busser in clearing tables, wiping down menus and organizing silverware.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.

· Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table

· Seats guests and manage the seating chart.

· Communicates with service staff in a professional manner and informs waitstaff if their assigned table has been sat in a timely manner.

· Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.

· Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

· Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.

· Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.

· Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

Position Requirements:

· Efficient verbal communication skills.

· Strong Customer Service Skills

· Experience in Country Club environment preferred but not required.

· Prior restaurant experience or hospitality experience preferred

· Flexibility when working alternating shifts

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

Reports to:

Reports directly to all Food and Beverage Managers, and, ultimately to the General Manager.
