Description

Yard Spotter & Local Driver | Fort Wayne Area | $1,030+/Week | $53,560+/Year Potential | Home Daily

Part of the week in a yard tractor, part of it in a day cab, and no two days exactly alike. This Tuesday to Saturday hybrid job mixes yard work with a few local deliveries, and overtime pays extra once you pass 40 hours.

What you'll earn

- Weekly potential of $1,030 or more, with annual potential of $53,560 or more

- $25.75 per hour

- Time-and-a-half after 40 hours, so busy weeks pay more

- Paid weekly

- Home every day

How the week breaks down

Tuesday to Friday: You're driving local truckload deliveries. You'll hear when loads are ready, usually by 10:00 a.m., and now and then you'll back up the yard spotting.

Saturday: A 5:00 a.m. start as the main yard spotter, moving trailers in and out of the docks.

About four truckload deliveries a week, run in a day cab. The rest of your time is spent in the yard tractor.

What helps you qualify

- A valid Class A CDL

- 9 months of tractor-trailer driving in the past 3 years

- Okay with a urine and hair follicle drug test

Background questions come later in the hiring process, like at most jobs, so there's nothing to dig up before you apply.

Benefits that come with it

- Union benefits

- Medical, vision, dental, life and disability coverage

- Paid time off and holiday pay

- 401(k) with a company match

If you like a mix of yard work and local driving with overtime on the table, send in your application and we'll be in touch.
