Hot Shot Driver

Southern Transport is seeking dependable CDL A Hot Shot Drivers to transport time-sensitive freight safely and efficiently. Drivers operate pickup and trailer combinations to move equipment, materials, and specialized freight supporting customers across multiple industries. Responsibilities include load securement, vehicle inspections, trip planning, ELD compliance, customer communication, and adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license required
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Acceptable driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Experience hauling hot shot, flatbed, or oilfield freight preferred
• Strong understanding of load securement and DOT compliance
• Ability to operate safely in changing weather and field conditions
• Ability to work flexible schedules and respond to customer needs
• Strong safety record and professional work history
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
