Drive Revenue Across Three Hotels

Jackson Hospitality is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to support the commercial success of three focused service hotels in the Sacramento and Davis markets:

• Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento at CSUS
• Home2 Suites Sacramento at CSUS
• Residence Inn by Marriott Davis

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and growing market share. You'll manage a portfolio of accounts while identifying new opportunities across multiple market segments, including corporate, government, group, association, SMERF, and local negotiated business.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute sales strategies that increase occupancy, ADR, and revenue.
• Prospect and secure new accounts within your assigned segments.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct outside sales calls, client visits, networking events, and hotel site tours.
• Partner with Revenue Management and hotel leadership to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales agreements.
• Maintain accurate account activity and sales pipeline within Delphi.FDC or other CRM systems.
• Represent the hotels at trade shows, industry events, and community organizations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to overall portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hotel sales experience required; three or more years preferred.
• Proven experience generating new business and growing client relationships.
• Experience managing corporate, group, government, or negotiated accounts.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple hotel teams.
• Experience with Delphi.FDC or comparable hotel sales CRM preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Sacramento and Davis markets.

Schedule

This is a full-time exempt position. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday, occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight travel may be required to attend networking events, client meetings, trade shows, and other business functions.
